| Raid Loot Rules |
|
*Changes are in bold type
These rules are being setup to cut down on the confusion during raids. There will be a LootMaster or LootMistress in charge of loots on each raid. They will hold all loots till awarded, announce the loot along with stats and who can use, and award loot. 1) Good Loots - Loot will be awarded on need as it relates to your class and current gear. If you qualify for a certain loot and your have one or don't need it please pass on it and don't just take it to sell it, let your brothers and sisters better themselves. All others in need would roll for it. If noone is in real need, then the item would be rolled on by all for selling (see rolling below). Alot of times we'll be dicussing "need" and/or looking up stats, effects and such in tells. So you know why it may take some time to call for a roll or to anounce who is awarded. 2) Small Loots - Words, pages, research components, quest items, specific gems, ect. They go to people that can use them. Misc. gems will go to the Clerics and Enchanters for them to sell to get the gems that they use on raids. For those that don't know a cleric components for the symbol buff is around 10pp per cast, bout the same for the Enchanter's Rune spell. Blue/Raw Diamonds will be rolled on. Otherwise it's vendored (see vendor fodder below) 3) Vendor Fodder ( Misc. Loot ) - This is loot you would sell to a vendor and such. Proceeds go to the guild bank. This will fund buying coffins, QoK (reagent for Mage summoned gate item), port stones, anything else the guild needs. At times vendor fodder will be given out for space considerations. Rolling - On good (dropable) loots ( when not awarded due to need ) after the loot is announced, "ROLL" will be anounced and each member will roll ( /ran 100 ). Highest roller wins. When you win a roll you can't roll again till everyone has something. This includes if you are awarded something. If you think something you REALLY want may drop best for you to pass till that item drops, If that item drops and you already won something you won't be able to roll. If were going after something specific (epic/quest drop) for you, you won't be able to roll. Of course if no drop stuff drops and your the only class that can use in the raid, you get it reguardless if you won something. If a few can use ( and all that can have won something ) it will be rolled on. If there is something that noone wants and you've won and you do, then you can get it reguardless if you won something. Any disputes on loots will result in the loot going into the guild loot bank and will be awarded by myself or another officer. If you have a problem with how something was awarded contact me AFTER the raid. Items you get on raids are YOURS, awarded or otherwise. I assume one day you'll sell it to get better stuff. But if I see you selling an awarded item 5 minutes after the raid is over then I'll have that in mind next time you say you really need an item. Rules may ( but most likely won't ) be changed when we run into special situtions. Not sure what those would be but I'm sure something will come up. I'll always be a fair as I can. |
